Dr. Alexa (Zeiger) Andraos (Pharm.D. ’19)
After graduating from the Chapman University School of Pharmacy in 2019, Dr. Alexa Zeiger pursued a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network in conjunction with CUSP. She is currently working at Cedars-Sinai as the lead pain management pharmacist and primarily works with patients on chronic opioids and those who are interested in tapering off opioids and/or benzodiazepines. In addition to her role as an ambulatory care clinician, she also works with senior leadership at Cedars-Sinai as a member of the controlled substance committee to identify and implement measures to appropriately monitor high-risk medication use across the medical network.
Dr. Zeiger also serves as the Cedars-Sinai/CUSP residency and student program coordinator, where she supports CUSP students on their final-year clinical rotations and Cedars-Sinai/CUSP residents throughout their post-graduate training. She thoroughly enjoys her work in direct patient care as well as educating and supporting the next generation of pharmacists.
