Homecoming Details
When is Chapman Family Homecoming?
Chapman Family Homecoming takes place on Friday, October 4, 2024, with events from 1 – 7 p.m., and on Saturday, October 5, 2024, with events from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
What is the Homecoming Tailgate Extravaganza?
The Chapman Family Homecoming Tailgate Extravaganza is a celebration from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., right before the football game! It consists of food, drinks and a variety of live entertainment for no cost.
What is Homecoming Headquarters?
Homecoming Headquarters is located at the center of campus, just north of the Attallah Piazza, in front of the Charles C. Chapman statue
At Homecoming Headquarters, you can:
- Get in the Chapman spirit with specialty Homecoming giveaways
- Pick up your Homecoming t-shirt
- Purchase tickets to the football game
- Receive answers to any questions you may have
Homecoming Headquarters Hours:
Friday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Where do I park for Homecoming?
Is there a map of activities?
Where can I get a Chapman Family Homecoming T-shirt?
The Chapman Family Homecoming 2024 T-shirt can be purchased from the Chapman Family Homecoming ticketing website, the same page for event registration. All shirts purchased online must be picked up at Homecoming; orders cannot be shipped.
T-shirts will also be available for purchase at Homecoming Headquarters throughout the weekend.
Do I need to check-in when I arrive to campus?
While it’s not necessary to check in for Homecoming Weekend, we recommend you stop by Homecoming Headquarters when you first arrive.
Registration and Ticketing
Where can I register for events?
You can view all events and register for them on the Chapman Family Homecoming Ticketing website. There, you will find a list of all the events, their availability, times, and registration.
Do I need tickets to attend the events?
Most events during Chapman Family Homecoming will not require a physical ticket, just a reservation.
Only the Homecoming Football game will require tickets, either printed or digital, for entry.
What if an event is sold out?
Standby lines will be available for all sold out events and guests will be admitted based on capacity.
The standby line for the Homecoming Football Game will open at 4:30 p.m. at the Home side (Gray Victory Way)
Do students need to purchase a ticket to the football game?
Students receive one free ticket to the Homecoming Football Game. We recommend you reserve your ticket in advance in case the game sells out. Students can reserve their ticket online through Chapman Ticketing, or bring your student ID to the game to gain access.

What do I need to bring with me?
Guests should be ready with their registration confirmation email, photo ID and their appetite!
Do I have to purchase food and drinks?
All food and drinks are complimentary at the Homecoming Tailgate!
For beer and wine, guests are limited to two drink tickets per person. Drink tickets will be distributed at Homecoming Headquarters during the Tailgate.
Are there options for those with dietary restrictions?
We have several options for common dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.
